Fateev, Efim Mikhailovich

Born in the village of Myslovschina, Smolensk district, Smolensk province . He graduated from the Moscow Mechanical Institute. M.V. Lomonosov (1924).

• 1925-1930 Senior Engineer of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI);
• 1930-1936 senior engineer of the Central Wind Power Institute;
• 1936-1957 head of the laboratory of the All-Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization;
• 1957-1965 head of the laboratory of the All-Russian Research Institute of Electrification of Agriculture.

The developer of the theoretical and practical foundations of the rational operation of wind turbines and wind turbines for various purposes. Developed the principles of aggregation of wind turbines with agricultural by cars. The author of a number of wind turbine designs.

Doctor of Technical Sciences (1948), Professor (1950), Corresponding Member of the Agricultural Academy of Agricultural Sciences (1956).

He was awarded the Orders of Lenin (1949), the Badge of Honor (1949) and the medals "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" (1946), "In Memory of the 800th Anniversary of Moscow" (1948).
