Biography

Natalya Ivaneyeva was born on February 9, 1990 [2] . Lives and stands for Volgograd and Volgograd region [2] . He is a soldier by signing a five-year contract [3] . Married to her coach, Semyon Ivaneev [1] .

In November 2015, she became the double champion of Russia in short water, having won at distances of 50 and 100 meters of breaststroke [4] . In December, Ivaneyeva became the bronze medalist of the European Championship in short water , showing a time of 29.99 seconds at a distance of 50 meters breaststroke [5] .

In the spring of 2016, Natalya became the champion of Russia at a distance of 50 meters breaststroke [6] . Initially, Ivaneyeva was supposed to get into the national team for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, but after FINA withdrew the suspension with Yulia Efimova , they sent the last to the Olympics [7] [8] . In November, Ivaneyeva, as well as a year earlier, won two more gold medals, becoming a four-time champion of Russia in short water [4] .

On July 30, 2017, the Russians won the silver medal at the World Championships in Budapest, and although Ivaneyeva did not participate in the final swim, she also won the silver medal thanks to participating in the preliminary round [9] [10] . Ivaneeva also reached the semifinals at a distance of 50 meters breaststroke with the 16th result in the preliminary round [11] , but she could not make it further [12] . In September, she performed at the National Guard Championship of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg, winning four personal medals, including one gold [3] . In the Russian Short Water Championship, Natalya defended the title at a 100-meter breaststroke distance, winning the fifth gold in her career [13] . She also became the silver medalist of the national championship at a distance of twice as short [14] .

At the 2018 Russian Championship, Natalya became the third breaststroke at a distance of 100 meters [15] . In August, Ivaneyeva took part in the European Championships in Glasgow , where she took the seventh place at a distance of 50 meters breaststroke [16] . In September, Ivaneyeva was second at the World Cup stage in Kazan, second only to Yulia Efimova [17] . In November, Natalya again became silver at a distance of 50 meters breaststroke at the Russian Championship in short water [18] .

On April 8, 2019, Natalya took the third place in the 50-meter breaststroke distance, behind Anna Belousova and Yulia Efimova [19] . Ivaneyeva also became the sixth at a distance twice as long, and in swimming for 200 meters she failed to reach the final, becoming the tenth among the semi-finalists [20] .
