Football career

A native of Bolton , Dale Stevens began his football career at Bury Club. July 1, 2008 became an Oldham Athletic player, refusing to sign a new contract with Bury [1] .

On August 14, 2009, he went on loan to the Rochdale Club. In his debut game for the club (against “ Morkam ” on September 4, 2009) he scored a goal [2] .

On March 9, 2010, he scored his first goal with Oldham in a game against Leighton Orient [3] .

In March 2011, he went on loan to Southampton until the end of the 2010/11 season [4] .

June 29, 2011 became a player in the London team Charlton Athletic , concluding a three-year contract with the club [5] . He made his debut for the club on August 6, 2011 in a match against Bournemouth , marking his goal with a goal and an assist to his partner [6] .

On January 30, 2014, Stevens moved to Brighton and Hove Albion , signing a contract with the club until 2017 [7] . He made his debut for the club on February 2, 2014 in the match against Watford [8] . On April 1, 2014, he scored his first goal for Brighton, equalizing with a header in the end of the game against Blackburn Rovers (the match ended in a draw 3: 3) [9] .

In the 2016/17 season, he was one of the key players in the team that took second place in the Championship , which guaranteed access to the Premier League [10] . May 9, 2017 signed a new four-year contract with the club [11] .

On August 12, 2017, Stevens made his debut in the Premier League in a match against Manchester City [12] . On January 2, 2019, he scored his first goal in the Premier League in a match against West Ham United [13] .
