Biography

Television career

Destadsbader started working as a presenter on the Flemish youth channel Ketnet on September 3, 2009. On September 6, 2014, he stopped working on Ketnet

and switched to the Flemish commercial television channel VTM , where he hosted the 'Dansdate' dance competition and was a jury member in the fourth season of the Belgium's got talent show, based on the British Got Talent format, whose Russian version calls Minute of Fame .

In 2015, Destadsbader, along with the Dutch singer and presenter Gerard Joling, presented 'K2 zoekt K3' (Russian 'K2 is looking for K3') on the Flemish TV channel VTM and on the Dutch television channel SBS 6. Three new singers for the Belgian girl-girl were found at the talent show K3 groups. Also in 2016, 2017 and 2018, he hosted various VTM programs, including 'The Wall' and two seasons of 'De Wensboom'.

On August 12, 2018, he became the winner of the 'Radio 2 Summer Hit' contest for the second time with his song 'Verover mij', his version of K's Choice's Believe song in the program 'Love for Music'. He also received a prize as 'Best Solo Artist'.

At the 2018 MIA contest (awarded on February 7, 2019), he was nominated 7 times. As a result, he won 5 MIA: in the categories of 'Dutch-language music', 'Flemish popular music', 'Solo artist', 'Pop' and 'Best album'.
