Biography
Gennady Zakharovich Lazarev was born on June 21, 1937 in Peterhof [1] .
He graduated from Tsinghua Polytechnic Institute (1961) and the Moscow Architectural Institute (1963) [1] . Since 1961, an employee of the Main Architectural and Design Department [1] .
He wrote a dissertation on architecture on the topic “Comparative analysis of the development of architecture of China and Japan in the VI-XII centuries” and defended it on June 21, 1972 at the State Committee for Civil Engineering and Architecture under the USSR State Construction Committee [1] [2] [3] .
