LSD (group)

LSD is a supergroup consisting of English musician Labrinth , an Australian singer and author, Sia Ferler and American producer Diplo [5] . The ensemble released four singles, all of which were released as part of the Mountains mini-album , released on Spotify on November 2, 2018 [6] . On March 11, 2019, the band announced the release of their first studio album, entitled “ Labrinth, Sia & Diplo Present ... LSD ”, which was released on April 12, 2019.

History

On May 3, 2018, the LSD trio released a single entitled “ Genius ” [7] along with an animated music video [8] [9] . The next day, Diplo said that LSD was formed after he was invited to record the songs of Labrinth and These [10] . Diplo declared:

“Initially, I was not in [LSD], but then the idea came to our publisher to add me there; these two artists together are the craziest, most creative people I've ever met in my life. I think that they have the most severe attention deficit disorder together, their ideas are so crazy, so I helped bring their ideas together, taking on the work of their producer. ” [11]

May 10, the song and clip “ Audio ” [2] [12] [13] were released . On August 6, Sia announced a new track called “ Thunderclouds ” which was released a few days later, on August 9, 2018 [14] On November 1, LSD released the single “ Mountains ” [15] In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine , Sia announced that the group will release their debut album [6]
