Biography

Born on May 29, 1949 in the city of Chistyakovo (now Torez), Donetsk region, in a working class family.

Since 1966, he worked as an underground communications engineer at the Komsomolskoye mine administration at the Torezanthracite mine. Since 1968, he served in the Soviet Army , since 1970 he was an underground electrician, a miner of the Volynskoye mine department of the Torezanthracite mine. since 1973 - accountant, foreman of the field brigade, deputy chairman of the collective farm "Progress" in the Shakhtyorsk district of Donetsk region. In 1975 he graduated from the Belotserkovsky Agricultural Institute with a degree in agronomy.

Since 1980, he was chairman of the collective farm named after 118 dead communards of the Shakhtyorsk district of Donetsk region.

He was a member of the CPSU , was elected as a deputy of the Donetsk Regional Council.

In 1990, during the first alternative parliamentary elections in the Ukrainian SSR, he was nominated as a candidate for people's deputies by the labor collective of the collective farm named after 118 dead communards of the Shakhtyorsk district of Donetsk region. On March 18, 1990, in the second round, he was elected People's Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the XII convocation (hereinafter referred to as the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of I convocation ) from Makeyevsky-Soviet constituency No. 118 of the Donetsk region, won 71.69% of the vote among 4 candidates. In parliament, he was a member of the parliamentary group "Land and Freedom", was a member of the commission on social policy and labor. The deputy powers expired on May 10, 1994.

In the 1994 parliamentary elections he was nominated as a candidate for People’s Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 2nd convocation , in the first round received 14.9% of the vote, took third place out of 12 candidates, was not elected.

In the 2002 parliamentary elections, he was nominated as a candidate for People’s Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IV convocation from the Communist Party of Ukraine under No. 140 in the party list, was not elected.

In the 2006 parliamentary elections he was nominated as a candidate for People’s Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the V convocation from the Communist Party of Ukraine under No. 140 in the party list, was not elected.

Married, has two children.
