Biography
Born May 22, 1942 in the village of Udovichenki, Zenkovsky district of the Poltava region in a peasant family.
Since 1959, he studied at the Akhtyr College of Agricultural Mechanization, since 1962 he worked as a mechanical engineer at the Rodina collective farm in the Lubensky district of the Sumy Region , since 1964 he was a master of vocational training at the vocational school No. 7 of the Gadyachsky District of the Poltava Region.
Since 1965, he was an engineer, then a senior engineer, the head of the workshop, the director of the trading base, the deputy manager for the material and technical part of the Kobelyaksky regional agricultural machinery association of the Poltava region.
In 1980, he graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of the Poltava Agricultural Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Since 1981, he was the managing director of the Globinsky regional production association for the production and technical support of agriculture, since 1985, he was the deputy chairman of the agro-industrial committee of the Poltava region, and since 1988, he was the general director of the state-owned enterprise for production and logistics of the Oblagropostavka, Poltava region.
In 1990, during the first alternative parliamentary elections in the Ukrainian SSR, he was nominated as a candidate for people's deputies by the labor collective of the Progress collective farm in the Globin district of the Poltava region. On March 18, 1990, in the second round, he was elected People's Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the XII convocation (hereinafter - the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of I convocation ) from the Globin constituency No. 325, scored 78.29% of the vote among 5 candidates. In parliament he was a member of the deputy group "Agrarians", was a member of the committee on planning, budget, finance and prices. At the same time since 1991, he was deputy head of the main department of the Agrooborudovanie software. The deputy powers expired on May 10, 1994.
In 1994, during the parliamentary elections, he was elected People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the second convocation from Globin constituency No. 326. He was a member of the parliamentary group “Agrarians of Ukraine” in the parliament, was a member of the committee on fuel and energy complex, transport and communications, was a member faction "Agrarians of Ukraine" (then fractions of the Agrarian Party of Ukraine).
He was a candidate for People’s Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine IV convened in the 2006 parliamentary elections from the People’s Bloc of Litvin , was 79th on the party list, was not elected.
Married, has two children.
