Candidate of Economic Sciences ( 1972 ). Member of the CPSU since 1953. He graduated from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in Moscow ( 1950 ) and the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU ( 1969 ).
- In 1951 - 1959 he was a Komsomol activist in Moscow and the Moldavian SSR. In 1952 - 1959 - II-nd secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth of Moldova. In 1959 - 1961 was the head of the Main Directorate of vocational education of the Moldavian SSR . In 1965 - 1966 I-st Secretary of the October District Committee of the Chisinau Communist Party of Moldova ( 1965 - 1966 ).
- 1966 - 1967 - 2nd secretary of the Chisinau city committee of the Communist Party of Moldova.
- Since July 1971 - Minister of Transport of the Moldavian SSR.
- At the VII, IX, XII and XIII congresses he was elected a candidate member, and at the XIV - a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Moldova.
- Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Moldavian SSR of the 8th and 9th convocations
According to some information, he was the driver of L. I. Brezhnev from 1944 to 1952 .
- Son, Vladimir (b. 1953 ) - Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, graduated from Chisinau State University, now Germany .
