Ranjbarlar ( Azerb. Rəncbərlər ) is a village in the Ranjbarlar administrative-territorial district of the Agjabedi region of Azerbaijan .

Content
Etymology
The name of the village comes from the word "ranjbarlar" (from Azeri. - "pahari"), since the first inhabitants of this settlement were precisely pahari from the Kebirli tribe [1] .
History
The village of Rechparlyar in 1913, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Elizavetpol province, belonged to the Keberlin rural society of the Shusha district [2] .
In 1926, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Azerbaijan SSR, the village belonged to the Daira of Agjabedi, Agdam district.
After the reform of the administrative division and the abolition of the counties in 1929, the Gusuli village council was formed in the Agjabedi district of the Azerbaijan SSR .
According to the administrative division of 1961 and 1977, the village of Ranjbarlar was a member of the Gusuli village council of the Agjabedi district of the Azerbaijan SSR [3] [4] .
In 1999, an administrative reform was carried out in Azerbaijan and the Ranjbarlarsky municipality of Agjabedi district was established within the Gusuli administrative-territorial district [5] .
On February 8, 2000, a new, Rundzhbarlarsky was separated from the Gusuli administrative-territorial district.
Geography
Ranjbarlar is located on the banks of the Upper Karabakh Canal.
The village is located 14 km from the district center of Agjabedi and 292 km from Baku . The nearest railway station is Agdam (the current one is Khaladzh).
The village is located at an altitude of 66 meters above sea level.

The population is mainly engaged in cotton growing, grain growing, and animal husbandry.

The average annual temperature in the village is +14.3 ° C. The village has a semi-desert climate .
Infrastructure
In Soviet times, the village was part of the Ivanov Wine-growing State Farm [7] .
The village has a high school, library, medical center.
