Achipsa waterfalls originate from the ledges in the upper reaches of the Achips river and fall along the slopes in the form of two beautiful and powerful streams. As they flow down, these streams gradually approach, eventually forming one powerful mountain water stream (one of the streams is the source of the Achipsse river, the second stream is its inflow).
Near the waterfalls there are several campgrounds. It is possible to get to the waterfalls in several directions, the main routes start from Krasnaya Polyana and from Khmelevsky lakes. It is possible to reach the waterfalls from Krasnaya Polyana (from the extreme upper street) in 3-4 hours. One of the main climbing routes to the Achishkho ridge and Mount Achishkho-Glavny also passes through the waterfalls.
The best time to visit the waterfalls is from May 15 to October 15, since during this period there is no snow cover and the weather is relatively stable.
