Criticism of utterances
Since April 21, 2010, on his radio show on Radio Without a Break, saying that on Independence Day, the supporters of Neturei Kart burned Israeli flags, as well as about clashes between residents of Yitzhar and IDF soldiers, Gaby Gazit sharply spoke as against settlers , and against ultra-orthodox Jews. He called the ultra-Orthodox "leeches, worms and parasites." In response, the Civil Rights Association in Israel (ACRI) stated that “the association rejects, with disgust, the statements of radio host Gabi Ghazit, which are intended to denigrate the entire public” [4] . A week after the statement, Channel Two opened a “procedure for investigating the violation” regarding Radio Without Stop [5] and decided to fine the radio station for 30,000 shekels [6] . About a week after this, Ghazit stated that he did not mean the whole community of religious Jews, but only those who damage the state and its symbols. In addition, Gazit repeatedly uses the word "worms" in his speech [7] .
Since November 7, 2017 , after G. Gazit criticized the Me Too flash mob in the Dana Weiss program, she stated that Gaby Gazit kissed her lips 15 years ago without her consent [8] .
Right-wing and ultra-Orthodox Jews claimed that Gazit was inconsistent in his statements. He was criticized by settlers and ultraorthodoxes.
Several times he apologized for his words to the audience.
