Najafkulubeyli ( azerb. Nəcəfqulubəyli ) is a village in the Najafkulubeyli administrative-territorial district of the Agjabadi region of Azerbaijan .

Etymology
The name of the village comes from the genus Najafkulubeyli who founded it from the Karadolak tribe [1] .
History
In 1926, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Azerbaijan SSR, the village belonged to the dagger of Agjabeda of the Agdam district.
After the reform of the administrative division and the abolition of counties in 1929, the Agjabadi village council was formed in the Agjabadi district of the Azerbaijan SSR .
According to the administrative division of 1961 and 1977, the village of Najafkulubeyli was part of the Agjabadi city council of the Agjabadi district of the Azerbaijan SSR [2] [3] .
On October 5, 1999, a new one, Najafkulubeylinsky, was allocated from the Agjabadi administrative-territorial district.
In 1999, administrative reform was carried out in Azerbaijan and the Najafkulubeyli municipality of the Agjabadi district was established within the Najafkulubeyli administrative-territorial district [4] .
Geography
Najafkulubeyli is located in the Mil steppe, on the banks of the Kura River .
The village is 16 km from the district center of Agjabadi and 287 km from Baku . The nearest railway station is Agdam (operating - Khalaj).
The village is located at an altitude of 2 meters below sea level.
