Alexander G. Lapuk (1925–2005) - a specialist in the field of electron-beam devices , winner of the USSR State Prize (1983).

Born on January 2, 1925.

From 1959, he worked at the EDB EDS (then transformed into NPO Electron) in the laboratory of A. E. Gershberg in positions from leading specialist to group leader.

In 1972–1990, the head of the Vidicon and Glaticon department, from 1990 the leading research associate of the Electron NGO.

In 1996 he left for permanent residence in the United States. Died in South Quebec St Denver Denver County Colorado USA 02.08.2005. Place of burial - Fairmount Cemetery.

The main designer of a number of vidicons and glotikon. Under his leadership, about 50 vidicons and 30 glutons were created for television broadcasting, applied TV, including a VIDICON with adjustable memory LI-429 (1971) for a television space system (Lunokhod-2).

Candidate of Technical Sciences.

Winner of the State Prize of the USSR (1983).

His wife is Irina Alekseevna Lapuk (11/27/1928 - 01/21/2005).
