Geography

Omutskoye is located in the southwestern part of the Shelabolikhinskiy district near the old channel of the Omutskaya river, from which the old woman remained. In the south-west of the old man lies Lake Kishkino [4] . The name comes from oikonym, transmitting the physical and geographical characteristics of the location of the village [5] .

History

The village was founded in 1765 [9] . In the village of Omutskaya, 215 residents were counted, including 103 males and 112 females. The first inhabitants came to this place in 1765. By 1911, the village grew several times and had 2035 inhabitants. An artel dairy factory, 2 private departments of dairy plants, a bread store and 3 small shops [10] worked here.

According to other sources, it was founded in 1891. In 1928, the village of Omutskaya consisted of 301 households, the main population being Russians. The center of the Omut village council of the Kiprinsky district of the Kamensky district of the Siberian region [11] .

Infrastructure

The formation and development of management in the village corresponds to climatic conditions: in its structure, agriculture dominates. There is an agricultural enterprise Kiprinskoye JSC, several individual entrepreneurs; Housing and communal services are provided by EKO LLC, Altayenergo, Omutskaya ATS.

Shelabolikhinsk regional consumer society carries out trade in food products and retail goods, it also carries out procurement and processing activities [14] .

There is MKOU "Omut Secondary School" and a kindergarten for 120 children. The health services are provided by the Shelabolikhinskaya Central District Hospital, the village has a FAP, and the FSUE Russian Post section is operating. The "Cultural and leisure center" of the Omut village council organizes and conducts various events [15] .

Transport

The village has regional roads Shelabolikha-Omutskoye, Baturovo-Kiprino-Yudikha, highway P380 (Novosibirsk-Kamen-on-Ob). The nearest train station is in Rebrich .
