Two singles were released from the album. The first, Lost in France , received a silver certification from the British Phonogram Manufacturers Association for more than 250,000 copies sold [2] . The other, “ More Than a Lover ”, however, failed to succeed in his native British single chart after the BBC banned the song on the radio due to controversial content.
The album was well received by music critics, and they called Tyler a “promising” artist. Commercially the plate was very popular in Sweden , where it reached the second place in the album chart. The album has not appeared in the album charts of other countries.
Shortly after recording the album, Tyler performed an operation on the vocal cords, after which the singer had a recognizable hoarse voice.
