Life
Friedrich was born in 1417 in the family of Stefan , Palatine of Simmern-Zweibrucken and his wife Anna Feldenzskaya. In 1444, his father divided his territories between Frederick and his younger brother Ludwig . On August 16, 1454, Frederick married Margaret of Geldern, the daughter of Duke Arnold Egmont .
