Yoo Yong ( born 유영 , born May 27, 2004 , Seoul , Republic of Korea ) is a South Korean skater who performs in solo skating . Three - time champion of South Korea (2016, 2018, 2019). The first time she won the championship of South Korea (among adults) at age 11, becoming the youngest champion of this country in history. She twice represented her country at the World Junior Championships . In 2018, it took 9th place, in 2019 - 6th.

Born in Seoul on May 27, 2004 [3] . She began to skate in 2010 [3] .
Season 2014/2015
In January 2015 (at age 10) she took 6th place in the championship of South Korea (among adults).
Season 2015/2016
In January 2016 (at age 11) she took 1st place in the championship of South Korea (among adults), becoming the youngest champion of this country in history. The previous record belonged to Yuna Kim , who won in 2003 at 12 years old.
Season 2016/2017
In January 2017, she took 5th place in the championship of South Korea (among adults) [3] .
Season 2017/2018
In the 2017/2018 season, she made her debut in the Junior Grand Prix series .
In January 2018, she took 1st place in the championship of South Korea (among adults) [3] .
In March (along with Lim Eun-su ), she represented South Korea in Sofia (Bulgaria) at the World Junior Championships . In the short program was 9th, in the arbitrary 8th and took 9th place. ( Lim Eun-suh was 5th in the short and 6th in the arbitrary, taking the final 5th place.)
Season 2018/2019
In January 2019, she again took 1st place in the championship of South Korea (among adults) [3]
In March (along with Lee Hae In ), she represented South Korea in Zagreb (Croatia) at the World Junior Championships . In the short program, it became only the 11th and ended up in the second group from the end to the free program. In the free run she took 5th place, which raised her to 6th place in the final table. ( Lee Hae In was 14th in the short and 7th in the free, taking the final 8th place.)
