“The Acid Queen” (from the English - “Acid Queen”) is a song written by Pete Townsend for the album of The Who Tommy . In 1975, the song was performed in a duet with Tina Turner in the movie Tommy , where Tina plays the role of the Acid Queen.

Tina Turner Version
In 1976, Turner recorded her own version of the song for the Acid Queen album. This was the last song that Ike Turner produced for her, they soon divorced and the singer began a solo career.
The original version of the soundtrack performed by Tina was presented in The Collected Recordings - Sixties to Nineties (1994), Tina! (2008) and The Platinum Collection (2009). He has also been included in several compilations of Ike and Tina Turners, including Proud Mary: The Best of Ike & Tina Turner (1991), although this is Tina's official solo single.
The song was also featured on the Tina !: 50th Anniversary Tour in 2008 with the addition of “ Won't Get Fooled Again ” elements, and the performance was included in the Tina Live video album.
