Pokrovskaya Church (Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary) is a church of the Chisinau and All Moldova Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church in the village of Syrkovo of the Rezinsky district of Moldova .

History
The village of Serkovo was founded in 1724 by Russian Old Believers on land owned by the boyar Ilie Sturdze [1] . The first inhabitants of the village were the Moskvichyovs, and later the Yeremeyevs, Timokhins, Dyakovs, Lisovs joined them [2] . A rural community existed along with the Serkovsky monastery . According to statistics from the 1720s – 1730s, the rural community numbered 60–70 people, and the monastery community about 30. By the end of the 1860s, there were 85 Old Believers in the village [3] , and the monastery was already closed.
The current church was built in 1910-1911 on the site of an old wooden chapel . The first rector of the temple was the priest Karp Belov. Then they served in the church (according to the enumeration of the director Yeremia Lazarev in 1953): about. Isidore Lennikov, about. Sergiy Makarov, about. Anthony Prevalov, about. Dorofei Fedorenkov, Fr. Sofroniy Cherevatov. In the mid-20th century, the community numbered 135 people. By 2018, the number of Old Believers in the village did not exceed 60 people. One of the most influential is the Yeremeyev family, from which comes Archbishop Zosima (Yeremeyev) [3] .
