Khnatsakh ( English Խնածախ ) is a village in the Syunik region of Armenia , 89 km northeast of the regional center. Height from sea level is about 1380-1460 m, the distance from the city of Goris is 31 km.

There are different versions of the origin of the name. According to one of them, Khnakh was a Khan's estate and was sold, hence the name "Khanabak". Another version that was attacked by a village clerk during the fight shouted: “I will not give you a flower”, where is the “Hanazag”, and some consider it to be “the creator of incense.”
Like other villages in Goris, there are caves once inhabited.
The village has a grotto church and two chapels built in 1610. There are old cemeteries of the 7th – 10th centuries (“Mulkon”, “Plaka”, “Jalal Hassan”) in a place called “Khachin” or “Tsitskar”, not far from the village, and in the vicinity there are cross-stones.

Economics
The population is engaged in cattle breeding, agriculture and beekeeping.
In the village in 1931 a collective farm was organized, which was dissolved in 1990.
Attractions
The local church was built in 1610, there are two chapels. Not far from the village is the settlement "Cross of the Cross" or "Tsitskar", in the vicinity there are cross-stones.
