Ulyandykul [1] [3] or Ulyandekul [3] [4] ( Bashkir Үlәndekүl ) [3] [4] is a closed lake in the interfluve of Khudolaz and Big Kizil in the north-east of the Baymak district of Bashkortostan [3] [1] . It is located on the border of the Kuseyevsky [5] and Mukasovsky [6] village councils, 9 km north-east of the village of Turkmenuevo 1st [7] , at an altitude of 415.4 m above sea level . Affected by overgrowing. The southern and eastern shores are swampy [1] . The name in translation from the Bashkir language is “grassy, overgrown lake” [4] .

Length - about 1.8 km [2] , average width - up to 600 m, maximum depth - about 3 m.
Lake of tectonic origin; hollow oval, elongated submeridionally. It feeds on precipitation. The coast is occupied by lake reeds, sedges, narrow-leaved cattail, common reed and others. Crucian carp is found in the lake. Wild geese, ducks, cranes, swans stop.
