History

It was founded in 1856 [4] .

56 people went to the fronts of the Great Patriotic War - “the core of all the mighty village and economy” [5] .

In 1957, the Gorny Altai collective farm was reorganized into a branch of the Olenesovkhoz state farm, with a center in the village of Dyektiyek . Mukhor-Cherga became the fourth farm of the Dyektyeksky "Olenesovkhoz".

Geography

It is located in the mountain-steppe zone of the northwestern part of the Altai Republic and is located on both banks of the Kilda River.
