There was practically no information about his worldly life; all that is known is that he was born in the city of Gadyach in 1706 and was the son of a Little Russian Cossack [1] .
The monastic tonsure Belousovich in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra in 1713 with the name Luke under Archimandrite Roman Kope and in 1745 was appointed governor of the Bryansk Svensky Assumption Monastery ; in this monastery in 1749 he laid the cathedral Assumption Church and built a stone fence [1] .
Shortly thereafter, Luke's father returned to the Kiev Pechersk Lavra in the number of brethren, where he was ordained archimandrite on June 21, 1752, with the appointment of the laurel as viceroy [1] .
Luka Belousovich died on March 30, 1761 [1] .
