Early biography

Russian, member of the Komsomol . He served in the Soviet army from 1955 to 1958 [1] .

Club career

Evgeny Yurkevich began his football career with the Elektrostal team. In 1960 he moved to the Perm "Star" . In 1960-1961, he played for the “Chemist” Berezniki , in which he won the championship of the region and became the prize winner of the All-Union Village Games in Odessa [2] . The following year, he played in the Sverdlovsk “Uralmash” , for which he spent a full season, playing 29 matches in all tournaments and scoring 13 goals [3] .

In 1963 he moved to the Moscow “Torpedo” , played two matches in the major league [3] . Since June 1, 1963, he became an instructor in physical education at the Torpedo, however, he was soon dismissed of his own free will on August 31 [1] .

In 1964-1965, he played as part of the Karaganda Shakhtar , having played 75 games in the championship and scored 13 goals [3] . In the 1964 season, he became the team's top scorer. [4] Later he played for such teams as Yaroslavl “Shinnik” , Chisinau “Avyntul” , Balashikha “Machine Builder” and “Kolos” Pavlovskaya [1] .
