Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the south-western part of the Central Russian Upland , on the right bank of the Apochka River, at a distance of about 18 kilometers (straight) to the south-west from the urban-type settlement of Gorshechnoye , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 151 meters above sea level [2] .
