Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the southwestern part of the Central Russian Upland , on the left bank of the Apochka River and on the northeastern shore of the Starooskolsky reservoir , at a distance of about 17 kilometers (in a straight line) to the southwest of the village urban type Gorshechnoe , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 168 meters above sea level [2] .
