Malkar ( Kazakh. Malkar [3] ) is a lake in the Timiryazevsky district of the North Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . It is located near the village of Moskvoretskoe , 46 km south-west of the village of Dmitriyevka [1] .

According to a topographic survey of the 1940s, the surface area of the lake is 1.26 km². The largest length of the lake is 2.2 km, the largest width is 0.9 km. The coastline is 6 km long, the coastline development is 1.49. The lake is located at an altitude of 169.8 m above sea level [1] .
According to a 1957 survey, the surface area of the lake is 1.7 km². The maximum depth is 1.5 m, the volume of water mass is 1.2 million m³, the total catchment area is 10.6 km² [2] .
