Biography
There is no information about his worldly life. In the dignity of the priesthood was the confessor of Catherine Ivanovna , Duchess of Mecklenburg-Schwerin
On February 21, 1734, Father Lawrence was appointed abbot of the Zlatoust monastery in Moscow with the elevation to the rank of archimandrite [1] .

Archimandrite Lawrence made a lot of efforts to restore the monastery, which was badly damaged after the fire of May 29, 1737, which devastated most of the city of Moscow. The renewal of the monastery of Empress Anna Ioannovna granted 1050 rubles in 1738, and in 1742 the monastery was visited by the Empress Elizaveta Petrovna and granted 2000 rubles for the construction of a new stone church. The church was consecrated in the same year [1] .
In 1756, Lawrence requested 1500 rubles for the completion of work on the renewal of the monastery; the architect, inspecting the buildings on behalf of the Synod office, found that the amount required would be 3,000 rubles; then the Synodal Chancellery decided: β although there is no payment from the Zlatoust Monastery, but for the attention to the excellent and diligent service of the Rector of Lawrence, who has already quite renovated and decorated this abode and zealously cares about it, give him 1500 rubles to build a church and other buildings . what amount he asked first, and as regards the rest of the money, to offer him, like the all-acceptable in the creation of that monastery, the holy Racchal, with skillful and decent measures, to seek help from the willing and pious givers β [1] .
Since 1751, Father Lawrence was an overseer for the dean priests of the β Chinese Forty β, in Moscow and was a member of the investigative commission on schismatics [1] .
Archimandrite Lawrence died on December 30, 1758 [1] .
