Love is a camera

“Love is a Camera” (from English - “Love is a camera”) is the song of British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor from her fifth album Wanderlust (2014) [1] . Ellis-Bextor wrote the song with Ed Harcourt , who also produced the track [2] . Lyrics tell the story of a woman who photographs her victims and keeps their souls in photographs. The musical composition includes parts of the piano, guitar, double bass, as a whole a mixture of tango and baroque [3] [4] . The song was released as the third single from the album on June 23, 2014.

The song received mixed, but mostly positive, reviews from music critics. Sophie Muller was invited to shoot the video; The filming process took place in the Italian city ​​of Florence . In the story, Ellis-Bextor represents two characters, one of whom is a “seducer”, and the other is an unsuspecting woman [5] [6] .
