Biography
Nikolai Grigoryevich Kiselev was born on December 18, 1928 in the village of Kiselyi (now - the Kirov region).
During the Great Patriotic War he worked on a collective farm. Since 1948 he served in the Soviet Army . After serving in the army, he moved to the Leningrad Region, where he began to work as a worker at the Pelgorskoye peat enterprise of the Leningrad Peat Trust in the Tosnensky District of the Leningrad Region [1] .
In 1973, it caravanded 90 thousand tons of peat (with a plan of 58.5 thousand tons), exceeding the norm by 31.5 thousand tons.
On March 11, 1974, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for the shown labor valor and achievement of outstanding success in fulfilling the socialist obligations assumed for 1973, he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Hammer [2] .
Before retiring, he worked at vocational school-17 as a master of vocational training in the city of Tosno .
He was a deputy of the Leningrad Regional Council of the 8th convocation.
Died March 12, 2019. He was buried in the avenue of heroes in Tosno.
