Biography

Jovana Stevanovic was born in the family of a Yugoslav football player Goran Stevanovic . At the age of 16 she was accepted into one of the strongest volleyball teams in Serbia - “Crvena Zvezda”, which she played until 2013, becoming her 4-time champion of Serbia , 4-time winner of the Serbia Cup, silver medalist of the European Volleyball Confederation Cup .

In 2013, the volleyball player moved to Italy and for 5 seasons played for the Pomie team ( Casalmaggiore ), having won the Italian championship with her (in 2015), the EKB Champions League (in 2016), and silver medals of the club world championship (2016). In 2018 she moved to Savino Del Bene ( Scandicci ).

In 2009-2010, Jovana Stevanovic three times became the silver medalist of the World and European Championships in the junior and youth national teams of Serbia.

In 2012, Stevanovic made her debut in the national team of Serbia at the Grand Prix , but on an ongoing basis she joined the main team of the country only three years later. Since that time, she has become the winner and prize winner of official international tournaments 7 times, including the silver medalist of the 2016 Olympics , the European champion in 2017 and the world champion in 2018 .
