Biography
Pupil of Barnaul football. At an adult level, he began to play in local groups of physical education - VRZ, Dynamo. During military service, he played for the Red Banner team in Barnaul.
In 1958 he was included in the leading team of the city - " Harvest " (later - "Temp", "Dynamo"). In his first season in Class B, he authored 15 goals, one goal less than his teammate on the attack line of Viktor Krushnyakov. Subsequently, he composed an attacking tandem with Boris Brykin . In 1960, he was first elected captain of the Barnaul club and again became the author of 15 goals per season (lost to Brykin, who scored 22). He became the first player from Barnaul to be included in the list of 33 best football players of the RSFSR (1960).
He also played for Barnaul teams in ice hockey and ball .
In 1961 he moved to Minsk “ Belarus ”. He made his debut in the Premier League on April 8, 1961 in the match against Chisinau “ Moldova ” [1] . In total, in April-May 1961 he played 4 matches in the major league.
After leaving the Minsk club, he played again in Barnaul. With his club, he became the winner of the Class B regional tournaments of 1963 and 1964. In 1963, he authored 22 goals for the season, but again lost to Brykin (26). In just two periods of the game, he scored 105 goals in official matches at the Barnaul club, and is part of the symbolic Boris Brykin Club for players from Siberia and the Far East who scored more than 100 goals. In 1962-1964 he was the captain of the Barnaul team, was distinguished by strict adherence to the sports regime. He was a member of the CPSU .
In 1962-1964 he was called up to the national team of the RSFSR. The first of the Barnaul football players was awarded the title "Master of Sports of the USSR" (1963). He missed the 1965 season due to his studies and practice at the police, then returned to the team.
After the end of his playing career, he worked as the head of the Dynamo team (Barnaul). Also served in the criminal investigation department. Had a law degree.
He died in Germany in 2004.
