Biography
Born June 24, 1920 in a Latgale family.
He worked in the branch of the plant number 115 in Novosibirsk . Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the 2nd degree for outstanding inventions and radical improvements in the methods of production in 1952 for the An-2 aircraft. [1] From 1956 to 1964 deputy, then first deputy general designer O. K. Antonova . Since 1964 he has been working as the head of the 6th Main Directorate of the USSR State Committee for Aviation Engineering, after which he is appointed Deputy Minister of the USSR Aviation Industry. [2] Becomes a Hero of Socialist Labor on September 3, 1981.
He died on December 27, 1995. He was buried in the Khovansky cemetery .
