Club career
In 1994, he signed the first adult contract with Chernomorets , but could not make his debut for the main team of sailors. But he played as part of the Odessa farm club of the second league " Chernomorets-2 ." In the 1994/95 season, he played 26 matches for the second team of sailors in the Ukrainian championship and scored 4 goals. From 1995 to 1999 he played for the Odessa clubs of the lower league Dynamo Flash (Odessa), SK Odessa and SKA-Lotto .
In 1999, he decided to try his hand abroad, traveling to Bulgaria. He performed at the local Belasice (Petrich). He played 7 matches in the national championship and scored 1 goal, but could not gain a foothold in this club.
In 1999 he returned to Odessa and again signed a contract with Chernomorets. He defended the colors of the “sailors” until 2001. During this time, he played 34 matches and scored 7 goals in a Odessa T-shirt in the Ukrainian championships, and played another 1 match in the Ukrainian Cup . During this time, he also performed as part of Chernomorets-2, in whose T-shirt he played 30 matches and scored 5 goals. In 1999, he acted on loan as part of the Ilyichevsk “ Portovik ”, but only one official match played for this club.
From 2001 to 2005 he defended the colors of the capital Obolon . For Kiev “brewers" in the championships of Ukraine he played 104 matches and scored 37 goals, spent 8 more matches (2 goals) in the Ukrainian Cup. In 2002, as part of the Kiev team, he became the bronze medalist of the First League of Ukraine . On May 30, 2004, in a car accident, he received a head injury, after which he was treated for a long time.
In 2005, he returned to Odessa "Chernomorets", in which he played another 16 matches (1 goal). The next year he spent in Transcarpathia . Although he played only 3 matches in the Uzhgorod team, he was able to become the bronze medalist of the Higher League of Ukraine .
The last professional club of Tereshchenko was the second-league Ovidiopol “ Dniester ”, as part of which he played 8 matches and scored 2 goals.
In addition, at the end of his career, he performed in other amateur Odessa football clubs Digital (2006, 2007) and Ivan (2007).
