Biography

Natalie Dell was born February 20, 1985 in Silver Spring , Maryland . Studied at Everett High School, then graduated from Pennsylvania State University (2007) and Boston University (2010).

She started rowing in 2004 at the university level. She was trained at the Riverside Boat Club in Cambridge .

In 2010, she joined the main team of the American national team and performed at the world championship in Karapiro , where she took fifth place in the standings of the female doubles.

The first serious success at the international level was in the 2011 season, when she went to the world championship in Bled and brought back the silver dignity prize won in the doubles - she lost only to the crew from Germany in the final. Also this season she performed at the World Cup in Lucerne, where she showed the fourth result in the same discipline.

In 2012, she won bronze at the World Cup in Lucerne in doubles and thanks to a series of successful performances she was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London . As part of a double four-seater crew, which also included rowers Adrienne Martelli , Kara Kohler and Megan Kalmo , in the main final came to the finish third behind the teams from Ukraine and Germany - thereby won the bronze Olympic medal. Soon after the end of these competitions, she decided to end her sports career [1] .
