Boedromy ( Βοηδρόμιος , “running to the rescue [1] ”, “helping in the battle with a shout [2] ”, “assistant in the battles” [3] ) - in ancient Greek mythology: the epithet of Apollo [4] as a deity helping in battles.
In honor of him, in this rank, in ancient Athens, Thebes and other Greek cities, the festival of Boedromia was held [5] .
