A tablet with the names of the dead astronauts and astronauts left by the Apollo 15 team on the moon
The list of dead astronauts includes astronauts and astronauts who died during space missions or in preparation for them in the status of an official candidate.
The list does not include astronauts and astronauts who died after the end of their participation in the space program.
As of May 31, 2019 during space flights, 4 fatal incidents occurred, in which 18 people died [1] .
In the USSR, astronauts who died in flight were buried in the Kremlin wall ; in the USA, the memorial was created at the Kennedy Space Center .
The list is sorted by ascending date of death.
