“ Just ” is the single of the English alternative rock band Radiohead , released in 1995. This is the seventh track on the 1995 The Bends album. Frontman Radio Thom Yorke wrote a song about his narcissistic friend, which upon closer inspection is reflected in the images of the text - a parallel is drawn with the early track of My Iron Lung EP "Lewis [Mistreated]". York also says that it was a bit of a competition between him and Johnny Greenwood to see who could insert more chords into the song. In the UK, this single was available as two CDs: the first one had different tracks, and the cover of the second single's album was turned upside down.

Video Clip
The director of the video clip was Jamie Trevis, who was personally selected by the group after the participants watched some of his experimental short films. The video was shot near Liverpool Street Station in London ; it alternates scenes with Radiohead band members playing a song in an apartment, with scenes where a middle-aged man (played by Dorian Lowe) lies in the middle of the sidewalk next to the apartment building. People begin to gather around the man, thinking that something had happened to him; At this time, group members are shown, who are watching from the window the events taking place on the street below. A lively conversation begins between the person and the crowd (subtitles are on the screen), because people want to know what the person is doing and why he is lying there. The subtitles show the following. The person finally gives up and says: “Yes, I will tell you, I will tell you why I am lying here ... but God will forgive me ... and God will help us all ... because you do not know what you are asking me." A person’s mouth is shown in close-up, but when a person finally gives an answer, the subtitles disappear, leaving what he has said open to the viewer's interpretation. When the camera moves back, a mob is shown lying just like that person.
The video is available on DVD 7 Radiohead television commercials and DVD Radiohead: The Best Of .

English DJ and producer Mark Ronson released a cover version of the song in February 2008, this was the fourth single from their second album, Version . The song was released earlier as part of Exit Music: Songs with Radio Heads (Radiohead tribute album), but it never received much promotion by the label. The song quickly aired on BBC Radio 1 A-List. The Exit Music version included vocals by Alex Greenwald and bass by Sam Farrar, both from the Phantom Plane group, but the single was released by the entire group.
The song was played as a continuation of the song “Valerie”, which was still in the top 20 of the UK after the release of “Just”. The song “Just” reached # 31 after release and dropped to # 36 place a week later. A video was shot for the song. The video was directed by Jim Canti, the video was a continuation of Radiohead's early video and a tribute to it.
Other uses
Soon after the song was released on MTV , the guitar melody from it was used as background music in commercials, where the sponsors of a particular show were listed.
