Biography

In 1895, after receiving education in the Sevastopol navigational classes he entered the service. Since 1898, after graduating from the Odessa Military School , he was promoted to second rank in second rank and issued to the Kerch Fortress Infantry Battalion, transferred to the 16th Rifle Emperor Alexander III Regiment . Since 1901, a participant in the Chinese campaign , for military distinctions, he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav 3rd degree with swords and a bow. In 1902 he was promoted to lieutenant .

Since 1904, a participant in the Russo-Japanese War , a regimental adjutant of the 11th East Siberian Rifle Regiment, was wounded. For military distinctions he was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 3rd degree with swords and a bow and the 4th degree "For Courage" and the Order of St. Vladimir of the 4th degree with a swords and bow. In 1906 he was promoted to headquarters captain , in 1910 to captains , company commander of the 16th Rifle Emperor Alexander III Regiment. By the highest order of December 3, 1909, for bravery, he was awarded the Order of St. George , 4th degree:

 For courage and outstanding determination, shown on August 17, 1904 while stubbornly defending the positions of the 11th East Siberian Regiment near the village of Mindyafan-Sichan 

Since 1914, a participant in the First World War , lieutenant colonel , battalion commander of the 16th Rifle Emperor Alexander III Regiment . Since 1915, Colonel , commander of the 14th Infantry Regiment . By the highest order of February 24, 1915, he was awarded the St. George Arms for courage [1] :

 For the fact that in a battle on August 12, 1914, at the Monastyrzhisk, commanding a battalion, he knocked out an enemy from the edge of the forest and decided to take the enemy’s right bank of the Koropets river. Personally, leading with two companies, he crossed the river along the dam and took enemy positions. At the same time, the battalion went to the flank and rear of the enemy, occupying a position near the village of Chekhov, which contributed to the success of the general attack of the brigade 

Since 1917, the commander of the 52nd reserve infantry brigade. December 27, 1918 he died "from a gunshot wound to the head", was buried in Odessa .
