Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary ( Serb. Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary ) is the church of the Dabro-Bosnian Metropolitanate of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Travnik . National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

History
Orthodox Christians began to settle in Trnivka in the middle of the 18th century. Until the middle of the XIX century they did not have their own church, but were fed by priests from the neighboring village of Grakhovik [1] .
The church was built in 1854 with the approval of the Ottoman authorities on the land donated by Shemsibeg Ibrahimpasic-Kukavcic. The names of architects and builders have not been preserved. In 1870, the first Serbian school was opened near the church. In 1903, the school moved to a new building, and the old building began to be used as a parish house and a baptismal hall . In 1911, the church was reconstructed. In 1923, a bell was poured in Split . The walls of the church were painted in the 1930s by academic artist Roman Petrovich [1] .
In 1956, the former school building was nationalized, but one room on the ground floor continued to be used for priesthood needs. In 1988, the baptismal was closed, and the priest moved to another house. Since then, community officials lived in the building [1] .
During the Bosnian War (1992-1995), the temple did not function. The south wall of the building was damaged by mortar fire. In 2000, the temple was reopened [1] .
Architecture
The temple is one-nave, has a rectangular base of 18 m × 11.2 m. A bell tower in the plan of 2.6 m × 2.6 m is attached to the western side. The height of the church is 10.6 m, the height of the bell tower, not counting the cross, 1.6 m high , is 19.9 m [1] .
