Biography
In 1887, after graduating from the Mikhailovsky Irkutsk military gymnasium, he entered the service. In 1893, after graduating from the Irkutsk military school , lieutenants were made and released into the 7th East Siberian Rifle Battalion. In 1897 he was promoted to lieutenant , he graduated from the Officers Rifle School . Since 1901, the head captain , a participant in the Chinese campaign .
Since 1904, a participant in the Russo-Japanese War , as part of the garrison of Port Arthur fortress, was wounded. For military distinctions, he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav of the 2nd degree with swords and St. Anna of the 3rd degree with swords and a bow and 4th degree “For Bravery”. In 1905 he was promoted to captain .
Since 1914, a participant in World War I , lieutenant colonel , 1915 colonel , commander of the Siberian 16th Infantry Regiment . By the highest order of July 2, 1915, he was awarded the St. George's Arms for Bravery [1] :
