Biography
Piotrovsky was born in Poznan in 1904. In 1923, after graduating from the he studied at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan , where he studied psychology , philosophy and symbolic logic, and in 1927 received his doctorate . In 1928, he entered graduate school at Columbia University , and from 1934 to 1954 Piotrowski worked , which was associated with Columbia University [1] .
He was engaged in experimental psychology , the Rorschach test [2] and the thematic apperceptive test .
In 1971, Piotrovsky received , and in 1980 the American Psychological Association Award for Outstanding Professional Contribution [3] .
