But there is a darker side. ” [2] Adam Buxton, the director of the music video, said it was a song about how to "be in the city on a noisy Saturday night." [3]

[7] Time journalist Josh Tyranjil praised the “slackness” and growing intensity of the song, which he compared to a three-part play. He described the song as "a journey through flirting, completion and regret, which comes as close as possible to summarizing the doomed relationship in four minutes." [8] Drowned in Sound described the song as “easy enough for listening and indirect consumption ... but complex composition under a deceptively simple external brilliance for long-time fans from whom she can get criticism.” [9] The following is written in Clash magazine: “The song is good, but, like the very well-promoted album“ In Rainbows ” , it is (relatively) musically (not) serious. [10] In 2016, Rolling Stone readers recognized her as one of the best Radiohead songs released since the 1990s. [2]
