Biography
Alexander Terentyev was born on May 19, 1999 in Naryan-Mar , Nenets Autonomous Okrug .
At three, the boy Sasha got on the skis. A year later, he and his father overcame serious distances. For the first time he took part in competitions while studying in the third grade, took third place. Coach Andrei Rechkov, noting the good results of the child, invited skiers to join his group.
In December 2016, after the All-Russian skiing competition among boys and girls aged 17-18, Alexander was invited to the Russian junior team. The first success at international starts was bronze in sprint free style at the 13th European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Turkey. A month later, Sasha won two gold medals at the winter Olympics of Russian students. There he complied with the standard of the Russian master of sports in skiing.
Alexander Terentyev made his debut in the Russian national team at the World Cup in Dresden. In the sprint, he became the 17th skate, and in the relay race with his partner he took 5th place.
At the Winter Universiade-2019 in the city of Krasnoyarsk, skier Alksander Terentyev won two gold medals, winning the individual sprint and mixed team sprint paired with Khristina Matsokina [1] .
