Alexei Fedorovich Grishin (born April 2, 1957, pp. Donshino, Belinsky district, Penza region) - Russian politician, member of the Federation Council (2003-2004).

Biography
He began his career in 1974 as a student of a plasterer-painter at the Penza House-Building Plant, in 1975-1976 he studied at the Penza Construction College, then worked as a construction technician at the state farm “VG Belinsky's Homeland” in the Penza Region. From 1976 to 1982 he served in the army (after an urgent stayed in extra-long service). Since 1982, he worked at the Intinsky Sewing Factory as a foreman, then as an economist and head of the planning and production department. In 1987, he graduated from the All-Union Correspondence Law Institute with a degree in legal law and until 1994 led the Syktyvkar sewing factory Komsomolka [1] .
In 1990, he was elected to the Supreme Council of the Komi ASSR . In 1994, he headed the administration of the Head of the Komi Republic , in 1999 he became an adviser to the chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSC KomiTEK NK OJSC, and in 2000, he became vice president and representative of the company in government bodies of the Komi Republic. In 2000, he was appointed Chief Federal Inspector in the Komi Republic.
On February 11, 2003 he was empowered by a member of the Federation Council - a representative of the executive body of state power of the Komi Republic.
On October 28, 2004, the head of the Komi Republic, Vladimir Torlopov, with the consent of the State Council of the Republic, decided to terminate Grishin’s powers ahead of schedule, but on December 8, 2004, a sufficient number of votes were not gathered at the meeting of the Federation Council to approve this measure, and Grishin filed lawsuits in the Syktyvkar City Court and to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation on the illegality of such a normative act [2] .
Nevertheless, on December 10, 2004, the Federation Council adopted Decree No. 399-SF confirming the beginning of the powers of the new senator, Igor Vasiliev , from October 28 [3] .
