Alba August ( Dat. Alba Adéle August ; born June 6, 1993 , Copenhagen ) is a Danish-Swedish actress. Gained fame for her roles in the television series Rain and the movie Be Astrid Lindgren.

Biography
Alba Adele August was born on June 6, 1993 in Copenhagen. Her father is Danish filmmaker Bille August , and her mother is Swedish actress Pernilla August . Alba has a sister, Asta, who is also an actress. She spent her childhood in Stockholm. She graduated from the Danish School of Performing Arts [1] .
Alba's acting debut took place in 2001 in the movie “ Song for Martin, ” where she played a cameo role. She regularly began acting in films since 2010.
In 2013, she played in three episodes of the Sandhamn Murders series. In 2017, she starred in the first season of the hostage series.
It became widely known in 2018 after the launch of the Rain television series on Netflix [2] .
In 2018, she played the role of Astrid Lindgren in the film “Being Astrid Lindgren” [3] [4] [5] , for which she was nominated for the Golden Beetle Award [6] .
