Biography
She lived in Mlada-Boleslav , where she became one of the best chess players in Czechoslovakia at the Rudolf Harezek chess club. In 1937, in Stockholm , contrary to the decisions of the then leadership of the Czechoslovak Chess Federation, Nelli Fisherova took part in the tournament for the title of world champion in chess , where she performed well and shared 6th - 7th place with Mona May Carf [1] .
During the Second World War was subjected to repression. In 1941, the occupation authorities of Nazi Germany sent Fischer to a concentration camp, where she died [2] .
