Biography
Anatoly Nikolaevich Klimov was born on June 14, 1920 in Petrozavodsk .
- 1939 - graduated from school in Leningrad .
- In the same year he entered the Kirov Military Medical Academy .
- 1943-1945 - fought.
- November 1946 - began working as a research assistant at the Department of Biochemistry at the Kirov Military Medical Academy;
- then a senior researcher and a senior teacher there.
- 1956 - Member of the Russian Biochemical Society;
- 1968 - Member of the International Atherosclerotic Society
- 1969 - Elected Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences,
- 1975 - Elected Academician of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR ( RAMS ).
- 1976 - Honorary Member of the Hungarian Atherosclerotic Society;
- 1980 - Member of the European Atherosclerotic Society;
- 1987 - Honorary Member of the Cuban Atherosclerotic Society;
- 1996 - Honorary Doctor of the Institute of Experimental Medicine and Honorary Chairman of the St. Petersburg Branch of the Russian Biochemical Society;
Anatoly Nikolaevich - Honored Scientist of the RSFSR.
He died on December 15, 2011.
