Geographical position
The village is located in the western part of Chad, on the border of the Sahel and Sahara , northeast of the city of Mao , at an altitude of 312 meters above sea level [1] . The settlement is located at a distance of approximately 221 kilometers northeast (NNE) from the country's capital N'Djamena .
Climate
The climate of the village is characterized as arid hot ( BWh in the Köppen climate classification ). The average annual temperature is 29 ° C. The average temperature of the coldest month (January) is 22.9 ° C, the hottest month (May) is 33.6 ° C. The estimated long-term rainfall is 279 mm. During the year, the amount of precipitation is unevenly distributed, the bulk of them falls from May to October. Most precipitation falls in August (134 mm) [2] .
